3rd January 2019 - New Year Lunch

With Christmas on the wain, Biggar Probus Club still managed to keep the Festive Season alive and hold their annual lunch on Thursday 3rd January . The Tinto Hotel providing a most enjoyable meal for 55 members and guests, and not a Turkey in sight! Branch President Alistair Pate, hosting the event, also introduced the entertainment spot, Alex Taylor and John Riley in the guise of” The Ukes of Hazard,” familiar faces to many . A most spirited and enjoyable conclusion to the afternoon. The Club meets again on15th January, 10 for10.30 at the Municipal Hall in Biggar when the topic will be ”Mountain Rescue Search Dogs”. We must hope the weather does not make this a practical demonstration.
